My Name Is Rachel Corrie

I was lucky enough to attend a performance of My Name Is Rachel Corrie last night and guess who else was there?


(I've not posted here before so I hope I do this right).

I actually had the chance to be THAT CLOSE to our dear Mr. Rickman and I'm still stunned. He seemed very tired but was quite pleasant to all of his fans. He said "of course" when I asked him to be in a photo with me. I felt bad that I was imposing on him. He was with Megan Dodds and an older woman and they waited while he lingered with fans.

The play was astounding. Megan Dodds did a wonderful job and the entire audience appeared moved by the show. There was one lone "protestor" outside the theater quietly passing out leaflets against the show.

Interesting about the protestor . . . . Wonder how much more of this we'll be seeing, and to what degree.

It's a very nice pic, thanks for sharing :) And the play is great :) It's good that there wasn't a riot outside the theater, I was a bit afraid of that could happen, I'm relieved :)

You lucky one. I'm such a fool. Alan was in Germany and I didn't rob a bank to be able for visit Munich or Berlin. :´(

I think the pic might be misleading. He didn't look exhausted at all in person -- at least not this night.

Thanks everyone for your comments and kind words! I am traveling out of town right now, but will post where you can find a bigger version of this picture when I return at the end of the week.

FYI ~ I am going BACK to see the show again on Friday, October 13th! I will let you all know if anything interesting happens.
